There have been many proposals, engagements and weddings happening the Hollywood. And we often read and see a lot written about their engagement rings. Who’s was the biggest, who’s ring was worth the most?
So I was just sitting and wondering which celebrity engagement ring influenced the world of fashion the most. Or one that I remember even years after the engagement.
One name that come to my mind without even a minute of thinking is Princess Diana’s Engagement Ring. The ring was in a way, a break away from the old cliché of diamond engagement rings. The ring had a huge 18 carat oval sapphire at the center which was surrounded by 14 round brilliant cut diamonds. The ring seems just so perfect to me. This sapphire engagement ring that Prince Charles gave to Princess Diana in 1981 is an epitome of grace, love and royalty. It is neither too overwhelming nor too subtle.
